Sub-Saharan Africa takes up 1% of the world’s health expenditure despite accounting for 13% of the world’s population. It is estimated that USD25 billion to USD30 billion in new investment will be needed for healthcare assets
Our strategy is to promote public-private sector collaboration to build strong continental healthcare systems, policy environments, and infrastructure – as a catalyst for a resilient African economy. Our strategy is aligned with principles of cooperation, and existing policy commitments as reflected in various continental and global instruments.
